Gerald Edward Palmer - Gerry Palmer has been a lawyer for over twenty years, and is an active member of many associations in the Abbotsford area. Gerry is currently the vice-president of the Abbotsford Downtown Business Association, the president of Abbotsford Community Services, a director of Valley Support Recovery Association, and an instructor in business law at Fraser Valley University College. Gerry practises primarily in the areas of real estate, corporate/commercial, wills and estates.
Pamela Gillen - Pam Gillen has been a lawyer since May of 1992. Born and raised in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Pam attended university at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Pam practises primarly in the areas of real estate, corporate/commercial, wills and estates.
Crystal Vamplew - Crystal Vamplew has been practicing law in British Columbia since 1997. Prior to that, she had practiced law in Nova Scotia from 1995 to 1996. Crystal lives in Maple Ridge and is an active participant in women's ball hockey. As a litigator, she has represented many family law clients in matters relating to custody and access, child support, divorce, property division and spousal support. Crystal has appeared in Provincial and in Supreme Court on behalf of her clients and she also assists her clients in reaching agreements in appropriate situations rather than prolong the litigation process. Crystal also does estate litigation and general civil litigation. Crystal is presently on maternity leave, having had a 10 pound 7 ounce baby boy on October 28, 2003. We look forward to having her back in our office next fall.
Patrick McMurchy - Patrick McMurchy has been practicing law since 1987. He lives in Abbotsford and joined Palmer Gillen in December 2000. Patrick is a member of the Sierra Club of Canada. A litigator, he has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia: provincial, supreme and court of appeal. Patrick has represented hundreds of people injured in car crashes, and has obtained large personal injury settlements and awards in jury and non jury trials. Patrick has also represented injured workers in WCB appeals over the past 10 years. Recent criminal cases include clients charged with a marijuana grow operation, sexual assault, shoplifting and bank robbery. Patrick also practices immigration law.
M. Jeanne Meyers has been practising law since 1988. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Simon Fraser University in 1980 and 1983, respectively. She then obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 1987. Throughout her career, Jeanne has specialized in the area of labour and employment law. Workplace issues often require specialized legal advice; such issues including: discipline and discharge, negotiation and contract administration, compliance with employment legislation, the duty to accommodate workers with special needs, maintaining a workplace free of harassment, and privacy issues. Jeanne has represented clients in both the public and private sector, including both unionized and non-unionized workplaces.

More about our offices:
Our offices were located on McCallum Road, Abbotsford, British Columbia for many years, and relocated to our present location of 1-33775 Essendene Avenue, Abbotsford, British Columbia in February of 1998. Our previous firm name was Palmer Malloch.
Our current location is shared with the law office of Marcotte Law Office.
Our present location is in historic downtown Abbotsford in a building constructed in the early 1930s, which was fully renovated in 1997/1998 in preparation for our relocation. There are numerous retail stores, financial institutions and restaurants in our immediate vicinity, including the new coffeehouse Legal Grounds Coffeehouse Inc., which is located in the same building as us.
